The port is specialized on handling general cargoes.
The port has 7 berths with the total length of 1900 m. Its sheltered warehouse area covers 40 000 sq.m and open storage area covers 250 000 sq.m. The port has gantry cranes of 10-40 t capacity and other cargo handling equipment.
The canal until the port has 11 bends, 5 of which pass through Dneprovsky canal and 6 pass through the Yuzhny Bug river. Maximum approaching channel draft restricted by 10.3 m fresh water, LOA 215m, BEAM 30 m. Tug-boat assistance is compulsory for vessels with LOA more 187m proceeding via the channel
